burners

I was just given an old G3 and love it. my question is can I use my tdk cd burner from my pc or do have to get the apple burner? I am running os x 10.2.

it should work correctly in your G3.

thanks. I installed it but it is only showing it as a writer. do I need to download additional drivers or get a third party burning application?

oopps. I ment it is only showing it as a reader, not a burner. also, i cant find my drive software to see if it has mac drivers. when I was given the system I never got the OS X cd's
