Hi, i just recieved my new airport extreme. I previously had a BT home hub. Everything looked fine, plugged in all the cables, but when i ran the software on my iMac it said 'Ethernet unplugged' Even though it was plugged in.
The light on the front was flashing amber.
Another thing that happened was my phone line stopped as soon as it was plugged in to the Airport extreme.
Plugged everything back into the homehub and everything was perfect.
I use an ADSL filter that is built into the phone socket, it was supplied and fitted by BT.
Any suggestionss please?
