I have noticed that Windows XP does drain my battery faster than OSX.
I would chalk it up to OSX being a more efficient operating system to the point that windows uses the hardware significantly more than OSX does.

yea thats what i figured cause i had a full battery and when i started it up it said I only had like 2 hours of battery life That was my first time using Vista on battery So it kinda caught me off guard. But I guess its common/normal?
