XP on an external drive ?

Hello ladies and gents, Mine is a simple question i think. I have looked every where but cannot find this question. I have found posts on getting xp on x hdd but can i just take the hard drive from my xp laptop , put it in an enclosure and use it with out bootcamp to dual boot my macbook ?

A simple question requires a simple answer: No. Placing XP on an external HDD and using it to boot is not in accordance with the MS EULA and therefore can not be discussed here.

2.16GHz C2D MacBook w/ 2GB RAM & 120GB HD. HTC Droid Incredible.
Not sure about EULA and stuff but when you do that XP is going to be looking for hardware/drivers related to the computer it was originally installed on. Since its running on a Mac it wont find that hardware.
