Hello all,

My company just bought me a new iMac and I've spent the last month configuring it. I'm a Linux user so I choose to use a case-sensitive file system. They just purchase me Adobe CS4 design standard and I'm sure as you know - I can't install it on my machine. My question is this - I'd love to backup my harddrive (only 62 gigs used out of a terabyte available) and reinstall leopard on as a non-case-sensitive file system and then restore my machine and have it work as before. How can I do this if I don't have the extra terabyte available? My biggest external harddrive is 160 gig? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Shannon Sumner

Just use super duper to move that used space to the external

SuperDuper!

Once Leopard is installed on a Mac OS Extended format drve you can use Migration assistant to bring back all your files and settings from the external back-up

Migration assistant is in Applications > Utilities
