I'm new to the Mac -- wondering if I can run 2 dvi monitors (say 20-24") from my 2.4 Ghz Core 2 Duo macbook? What kind of hardware, or adapter do I need to buy to get this done?

I currently have a "Mini DisplayPort to DVI Adapter", but that obviously only supports one monitor.

Any suggestion, recommendations, or links to product would be greatly appreciated.

Thx

You can get a USB video "card" utilizing the DisplayLink chipset. There's a list at DisplayLink

Note that DisplayLink's Mac drivers are in beta, and Apple has not provided any help or documentation. So, there's no 3D support: DisplayLink: Mac OS X Drivers

Also, since these work over USB, they're going to be a little sluggish when you move windows around.

csixty pointed out an alternative, but to directly answer your question, No, you can not run two monitors from your MacBook without buying additional hardware.
