Hi,

I was wondering if anyone could help me by providing advice about replacing the LVDS cable in my powerbook G4 15inch 1.5ghz

I have bought the cable and someone in the know was supposed to be replacing it but they have let me down so I need to do it myself, if possible.

Does anyone know anywhere I can find a guide to performing the switch? I'm a complete novice at this, is it likely I'll even be able to do it?

Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Regards

Jonny

Thanks for that.

I've found guides on replacing the entire screen on that site but I can't find anything about replacing the LVDS cable.

As far as I can tell the LVDS cable actually runs inside the screen, is this correct? Will I have to also take the screen apart?

Apologies for my ignorance.
