Shared Secret

How do you turn of the Shared Secret while using Leopard, and attempting a VPN connection, my internet source does not have a shared secret, and while attempting to connect it continuously asks me to enter a shared secret. any help would be appreciated.

L2TP over IPSec typically uses a shared secret, but PPTP may get you what you need.
