Region free DVD software??

I know I already asked in the Powerbook section but didn't have any luck...

I NEED to play both region 1 and 2 on my PB, is there any software that could help me?

There is Region X, but I can't try it out, in order to see, if it really works.

The article below says that whatever DVD you put into your mac first, that is the region it is going to be set it. Then your mac writes what region your DVD is into the firmware, in order to limit you from playing different regions.

Region X tells you what region you have, if you are not sure still. You'll just look at what box is filled in next to a region.
