Network can't find pc

Hi there! First Post!

I connected a pc through an ethernet router,
but in Network I can see the pc, but i'm not
able to log-in. It says:

"The alias "PC NAME" can't be opened
because the original part cannot be found"

Well, that's a translation from Dutch.
Anyone know how to fix this?
I'm sure pc's username and password are right.

u have to share something on the pc

Could that be the reason my Mac can't make
the connection? How can I set a folder for sharing
on a pc? Tried right-click but no success.

Should be right-click and then properties and then sharing...or remote access... (freigabe in german)
