Hi
My hdd is making a lot of noise. Sounds like it is constantly spinning.

So I think it's time to get a new one. The model is a MBP 2.4 came out in June 2007.
The HDD is a FUJITSU MHW2160BHPL. 160GB

Can I just replace this HDD with any HDD or Do I have to replace it with the exact one?

Thanks
vxd

You can replace it with any make hard drive and size provided the new drive uses a SATA interface and is 2.5". Go to OWC and take a look at their stock of hard drives for your MBP. Link

Regards.
