Speed vs. Memory

Two machines: one is a 700 MHz eMac with 256 MB RAM, and the other is a Dual 450 MHz G4 with 512 MB RAM. Will be used for graphics work using Photoshop and Illustrator. Given the choice, which would you use? Nevermind monitor size- I'm just concerned with performance.

The dual 450 - dually can handle and render filters/effects more efficiently than a single - and it has 512 RAM, which is key ;)

That's kind of what I was thinking. I'm on the eMac right now, and I may be handing that off to our other artist. It's basically my choice (I'll be getting the dual G4). He's on an old G3 right now, so performance-wise, he'll be getting an upgrade by getting the eMac. I just don't think he'll be happy to be downgrading the monitor size from 20" to 17". And it would appear that dual monitors isn't an option with this particular eMac. Monitor size isn't a huge concern for me- I just want the faster machine. Thanks for the reply.
