yes, Leopard will run on a G4 chip at 800 Mhz and above, so the G5 will easily run Leopard

Pop in the Leopard DVD and do a clean install which formats the drive and gets rid of all old files, and you then set a new ID and password. Make sure the machine has adequate memory as Leopard is a hungry cat!

I thought Leopard required 867mhz, but still the same difference for you.

800mhz or 867mhz...close enough. I know some folks that run Leopard (10.5) on even slower Mac's...and they're still happy with the performance.

So 800 or 867mhz...it's just a recommendation, not a requirement.
