Help. I am at wits end. I am not gifted when it comes to computer problems, so please bear with me.
I have a Mac G5 Desktop with Airport wireless. Airport Express wireless Router (V6.1.1) and a Dell Laptop 1520 Inspiron.
I have comcast internet with modem and the airport connected to the modem.
I believe I have the network set properly.
The G5 sees the Airport and can connect to the internet.
The Dell sees the Airport but cannot get the connection through to the internet.
If hardwired from the modem, I can connect to the internet and other unsecured networks. However, when I plug the ethernet cable back into the airport I go back to square one.
I have spent two days on the phone to comcast and Dell with no solution.
Any ideas???
