Sharing photos between a PC and a Mac

I use a Mac, my husband uses a PC with Vista. Which is the easiest and most automatic way for the two of us to share our photos?

just load them onto both. Both will read .jpg if you load them onto both and just use whatever photo viewing/editing program you like. Not sure if this is what you are asking. If you have a shared hard drive, just put them on there and use both to access them. You can also enable file sharing and use one to view files on the other.....
