sharing files between imac os9 and xp

I need to know how I can setup file sharing on OS 9, I have a buddy that needs to copy some documents from his old imac to his new xp machine. I am very good with PC's but I know almost nothing about macs, so please be as straight forward as possible. Thanks in advance.

12" Apple PowerBook G4 (1.5GHz)
OS 9 only supports AppleTalk/AppleShareIP file sharing. Without additional software, it cannot connnect to Windows shares, and Windows can't connect to AppleTalk shares.
