Problem installing os x 10.2 on G3 iBook

Everything works well until I need to insert the second disk, then it goes into some sort of sleep-mode, it resumes from sleep but only for a few seconds..

battery is fully charged and charger plugged in..also tried a different battery but still the same..

any ideas??

well, now i got it installed.

but still the same problem with the sleep mode,
it boots up fine and everything, but when osx has finished loading it goes into sleep..
only way i get it to work now is if i disconnect the battery.
and i have tried 3 different batterys wich i know works!

anybody got any ideas???

Keyboard and MP freeze on OS X install

As the title says,
the keyboard and mousepad freezes/stops working when trying to install OS X.
Tried 10.2 & 10.4.
Works fine with usb mouse&kb..

any suggestions?

in ubuntu the mousepad&kb works just fine..but really want os x instead..

What happens when you try to use the original install media? And.. are the 10.2 and 10.4 disks gray in color? (model specific)
