1.67 GHZ Powerbook g4 17 inch now has a bright blue line down the screen

This powerbook all of a sudden has a bright blue (VERY THIN) line down the screen...

it isn't a big deal for use but it could be annoying...

tne entire screen... from top to bottom a very thin line...
any idea?
monitor problem? or is it something else?

It could be a line of "stuck" pixels on your display screen, or possibly a graphics GPU problem. However, I think it is stuck pixels from your description. Solution? Change out the display.
