Disk Utility

Hi guys,

im trying to do a disk check through the disk utility
when i click on verify disk i get this message

"First Aid Failed
Filesystem or Repair Failed"

any ideas guys.

Also instead of making another thread
how can i go about making my mac run faster

You can only repair the disk when you boot from your install disc.

Has it slowed down recently? Try running some maintenance tools such as OnyX. Also, look into getting some more RAM. How much do you currently have?

I recently put windows xp on via parallels 4

and it is very slow, i currently have 2 gb of ram
