Photoshop Installation problem

I recently switched from Classic Mac to OS10,4, as the minimum requirement for broadband. When I tried installing my Photoshop 7 CD (Legally Licenced); I got a window popup, asking for my previous Photoshop 6 software. Apparently
my 7 is an upgrade. The 6 software is long gone. Any suggestions how to go about installing this?

You might be able to download a demo of PS 6 if you can find it somewhere, but i think you're kind fo stuck here. Try calling Adobe and explain the situation, they might be able to help you out. If not, maybe give you a discount on the full version.
