updating podcasts

I have tried updating my podcasts using my wi-fi connection on my ipod touch, but they won't update. I still need to plug in to the computer to update the new downloads. I thought I read somewhere that you can update them without hooking up to itunes?? Am I wrong? Or am I doing something wrong on my ipod (going to itunes, podcasts, and clicking "get more")?
