What is the cheapest I could get a used G5 Powermac?

Like the lowest single processor model, I don't watch Ebay enough to get a good idea, Anyone?

They still go for about the same prices that they cost when they were new. Mac hardware doesn't depreciate like PC hardware does - so don't expect to pick up a PowerMac G5 for $600 like you can a Dell or HP.

But you can't still buy a new 1.6ghz, how much would that affect the price, I can buy a new stripped down single 1.8ghz for $1233, any chance I could find a 1.6 for under $1k?

eBay. If not, the cheapest you can buy a new one is through the educational discount through Apple (if you qualify).
