I have an intel macbook, it works fine but lately everytime I insert a dvd or cd whether blank or otherwise it sucks it in, spins for a little while and then it spits it out, Its driving me crazy. Please help

Try cleaning the drive first. Drive cleaning kits are sold at most stores which stock computer accessories. If it continues to eject media after cleaning, it may be time to think about getting a new drive. Is your MacBook covered by a warranty? ( 1 year or Apple care)

my macbook does that from time to time, but only with a certain brand disc. try switching brands. i know, it sounds to easy, but it worked for me
