so maybe two days ago my macbook froze and i tried to restart it , it would chime but would not load after the gray apple screen i have tried option/command p r and command v its not stuck in a process nothings really helped at all , the last time this happend i left it loading for a while and it worked itself out but is not doing that now. is there anything i can do without the os 10.4 disks cause i dont have them with me .. if you can help i'd be so grateful

You really need your install disk set to boot the machine and run Disk Utility to do a verify and repair on the hard drive. Can't really effectively do any trouble shooting without them.
