I need IE for 1 reason which is to do e-learning for work, here is the site AIMS Courseware (i can only get it to run in IE) so i got Crossover Office and installed IE only for a work colleague to inform me that it is a dangerous thing to do on a mac, is it and why?

Thanks in advance

I don't necessarily see why it could be dangerous as long as you are conscious of what you browse online.

Codeweavers (makers of Crossover Office) list IE as a supported program. That said, it only lists IE 5.0, 5.5 and 6.0.

I'm curious to know why he said it was "dangerous".
