windows exe file on mac

Hi guys iam relatively new to mac and osx, i have a windows file with EXE at the end is it possable to view this on a mac?
i have tried version tracker but with no luck, any help would be great
thanks

It is if you install Windows on your Mac.

.exe is a Windows application. You will need the appropriate version of Windows to run it.

You can if you install Windows. Only windows will open windows programs.

It might be better if you tell us the name of the application and what it does. There may be someone that can provide you with an OS X version or app to do what you need.

If you don't know what it is, you got it in an e-mail from someone for example, you don't want to open it anyway. It's more than likely a windows virus one of your windows using friends is unknowingly passing around. Never open a .exe received in an e-mail.

Its an app that i used to use on my pc an its for hacking wi/fi networks and when i put it on a flash drive and transfared it to my mac, now when i open it i get a load of rubbish showing up, EG jkfp29834t[q09;ksl]-q34pq3=-04=-4ijcp098q7340898

any ideas?????

Well, since hacking wi-fi networks is illegal here in the U.S., not going to get anyone on this forum to show you how to do it.
