inserting link in hotmailmessage

Good Morning,

How would I insert a link in an email message on hotmail. Copy & paste does not seem to work it will show up on the email, but it does not work like a windows link. Is there a solution beside switching to osx system mail?

While it does not change color and underline itself, it looks and works just like a link at the receiving end.
