Why did Apple decide to go completely white?

I like the white, and I don't care what other people think, you have issues if you judge someone by the computer they use. I personally think the titanium powerbooks where the coolest looking, I liked the clear keyboard and I liked how the trim wrapped around the edges. I think it was a better looking notebook then the aluminum ones, plus titanium is pretty cool. Anyone ever notice almost ever commercial or magazine has a titanium powerbook with a screen shot of windows xp? In some movies they will be carrying an ibook and then a close up of the screen is windows xp, or classic mac.. That angers me alot
