G4 1Ghz RAM for 1.33GHz

Hi all.

I am new to the forum and would like to ask those with the knowledge a quick question regarding RAM for ibook G4('s). I bought a 1GB stick for a 1Ghz G4 ibook (early 2004). My question is would this stick be compatible with a slightly newer G4 model - specifically 1.33Ghz model?

The RAM was bought from Crucial;

1GB, 200-pin SODIMM, DDR PC2700 memory module

Can you be more on the ibook g4 you had? Is yours have the 12 or 14" screen?

From what I've read, the 12" and 14" screen has different memory type. Your RAM is okay to put in to the 12" model.

The RAM is in a 14" 1GHz G4 iBook, and I'd like to put it into a 12" 1.33Ghz G4 iBook.

I believe you can do that. Considering the RAM is PC2700 DDR memory. It is exactly the same as the one in the 12" 1.33Ghz G4 iBook.

Well my 12" 1.2ghz G4 could accept up to 1gb ram... so you should be good.
