Problem with Powerpoint.

A couple of colleagues have had problems opening Powerpoint presentations on their macs. The same projects open on identical computers running identical software. Could it be a OS software update problem? That's the only possible difference I can see between the computers.

what problems are they having?

as a suggestion try using the OpenOffice app

This could be problematic with Office 2007/2008 files. What version of PPT are you using?

The projects simply will not open on their computers but do open on mine which is identical with identical software.

Using Mac 2008...
