I've searched this site and either I'm blind or nobody has asked if it's possible for the White Macbooks, not the pro, not the powerbook or any other mac, just the white 13" macbooks. Can they dual screen with another monitor?

If it's possible would I need a DVI to VGA? My monitor has a VGA port but the question I have is does the Macbook have the DVI or what ever it's called port and if so is it the one located 2 ports down from the charger port?

Sorry for such a noob question but I can't find a direct answer, just stuff beating around the bush.

You didn't look very hard to find the answer to your question. All you had to do was go to the Apple store. Link As you can see, the White MacBook has a mini DVI output port. You'll need a mini DVI to VGA adapter in order to connect it to the VGA input of an external monitor. The adapter can be purchased from Apple for $19.00.

And yes, the White MacBook does support connecting an external monitor.

Regards.

Mini DVI to VGA will work perfectly. I got it set up now.

Check eBay, you might grab one off there for less than $19.
