Dock question

When you have a folder on your dock and you put an Item into a folder in that folder. Isnt the window supposed to close automatically. If it is suppose to mine stopped doing it can anyone help me find what is wrong.

No, it does not close automatically. It actually opens a Finder window rather than the popup menu.

thanks I was going crazy i could have sworn that it would open and auto close thanks again
