Hello,

I am waiting for my first Mac Book which is still in the mail but all this time I have been using Windows. I have a lot of files that I will need to transfer over to the new laptop but wanted to know if there is an easier way of doing this rather than dragging all my documents onto an external storage device and pulling them over. Maybe something like the file and settings transfer wizard that is built into Windows.

Any help would be very much appreciated.

Thank you in advance....

Not really I'm afraid.

The most reliable way is, a you say, to just drag your files onto a flash disk/external drive, DVD etc and then re-copy them onto your Mac.
