Hi there,

I have a new iMac that came from Apple with Leopard Restore Disks. I just received a MacBook this morning that I purchased from Ebay. It didn't come with any Restore Disks and has only a partial copy of Leopard on it (no iPhoto, iWeb, iMovie, Garageband, etc.)

My question was if I can use the Leopard Disks that came from Apple with my iMac to put a fresh and complete copy of Leopard on my Macbook.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

G'day Brandon and welcome to the forums.

In short no mate. The disc you received with the iMac will work only with that model and will not install on any other Mac. You need to purchase a full retail install DVD which will install on any Mac meeting Leo's specifications.
