Okay here's the situation; I have an eMac that doesn't have a DVD drive that i just bought off of eBay for cheap. I want to put Tiger on it, but it doesn't have the DVD drive so i can't. i have a MBP with a Superdrive. is there a way to use the DVD drive off of the MBP to install Tiger on my eMac? possibly using firewire?

That's exactly the way to do it...connect your eMac to the MBP via firewire.

The only catch is...your Tiger install disk needs to be a retail "install on any Mac" DVD. NOT a computer specific Tiger install disk...such as a disk that would have shipping with an Apple computer.
