nasty looking insect

Hi all,
I have a problem with my imac,I cant open my emails and I am thinking it is something to do with the nasty looking insect on the top right hand corner of my screen,has anyone any idea what this insect means?
Any replies would be appreciated.

What email client are you using? The insect you're referring to in the upper right hand corner, is a small icon that when pressed allows you to send a "bug" report to Apple. If you're currently using the public preview of Safari 4 you'll see the insect icon in the upper right corner next to the search bar.
