Install Max OS X

I tried to install Mac Os X and the first disc was completed. When I inserted the second disc. It says "There were errors installing the software." I cannot do anything from there. Can someone help me get up and running.

Sorry, I meant to type Mac in the thread.

First question what type of disc are you installing from? A silver/grey CD/DVD is known as a system restore disc and is to be used only with the model it was released with. Hopefully you have a black coloured disc known as a full retail install version.

Also your avatar does not give any details on the model Mac you are using, processor size, memory installed, current operating system etc.
