So, I was planning on buying a Display Port to VGA adapter from Apple and then buying a third party VGA to S-Video adapter, but Apple.com says that the Video/Graphics card supports DVI, VGA and Dual DVI. If this is the case, will it not work with my S-Video TV? I mean physically speaking, it will work, but I have heard that if the Video/Graphics card doesn't support it, then it still won't work. Thanks.

I see no reason why it would not work, as s-video suports a resolution of 640X480 just as vga does, so a vga to s-video adapter should work because the macbook obviously supports vga, as apple is selling a display port to vga adapter

It should work just fine. The only reason the website says that is because Apple doesn't produce a mini Display Port to S-Video adapter
