Steer mouse equivalent

Does anyone know of a free mouse controlling application that will make the mouse movement more "windows like."

I hate the way the mouse movement gets slow in OSX when you come close to a target...

There's a reason Steermouse is a pay-for product. Not only does it do a great job, but there's nothing else like it out there. There is USB Overdrive, but that's also a pay-for product and only works with USB mice (not BT like Steermouse).

Actually USB Overdrive added support for BT mice over a year ago... finally.

Well then, you are welcome to my USB Overdrive license as I don't use it anymore - PM me if interested. I didn't realize it didn't support BT when I originally bought it, and then I found and bought Steermouse. I still prefer Steermouse.

BTW, I just dug up the receipt and realized it's licensed in my name. I have sent an email to the developer to see if it's possible to transfer it into another name.
