Hi everyone.

Help please!http://www.mac-forums.com/forums/mac_images/images/smilies/Grimmace.png

My Mac Book appears to have died. Boot up and all I get is a "Folder" with a question mark. Please confirm this means a dead Hard Drive or is this something else.

Presumably If it is a hard rive, simply replacing this will enable me to use it?

Thankshttp://www.mac-forums.com/forums/mac_images/images/smilies/Smile.png

Could be, but probably not a hard drive failure.

You should work through the troubleshooting tips here.

Read down and start off resetting the NVRAM - don't even bother with hitting the two links right above that, they just reload the same page again.
