Hey everyone. I have a document I want to post online, and I need to post it in PDF format. I'm on a MAC running OS 9 and the document is Appleworks. How do I convert it to PDF? Where can the programs, if I need any, be found?

mac has a cool thing setup where you can go to print options and then choose
SAVE AS PDF.

Not in OS 9 you can't.. you would need Adobe Acrobat and Distiller to save as a PDF in OS 9.. in OS X yeah you just print and save as pdf.

I recommend emailing this file to a friend running os x, and have them convert to pdf and mail it back. pdf in os 9 is a long drawn out process.

Thanks a lot, I'll do that. Or maybe I'll just upgrade. How does the upgrade treat existing files?

it leaves them alone if you do an upgrade install instead of an erase and install, leaves all settings and such untouched.
