I have a 13" MacBook and the HD just died. Would like to replace with 500 GB drive. Anyone have any ideas?

Read this for replacement instructions. That's for the white MB (I'm not sure how much it differs for the Aluminum MBs) - I assume because the HD died you have a white one.

I'm about to do the same thing, but more because I've filled up the 120GB that came with my macbook.

Is there any problem with going up to 500GB in a macbook? Should I stick to 5400rpm because that's what the stock HD ran at? Any brands to stay away from?

I have had a 320Gb 7200 rpm WD Scorpio Black in my white macbook for the past 7 months without any problems.
