Using a network shared printer...

I just upgraded to an imac from an eMac and am having problems with getting my copier set up as a printer from this computer. It is set up with an IP address. I have it set up and my computer recognizes it. I can make all kinds of changes to the document and it gives me the correct menu...however, when I attempt to print to it, it pauses the printing and won't allow anything to print.

Any thoughts or suggestions??

Did you go to the printer mfg's website and download the correct and current
drivers and make it the default printer.
