Hi there everyone,

This has bugging me for a while... is there anyway to prevent someone to physically shut down (holding the power button) my macbook pro?

It happens that my brother has this nasty habbit of doing so everytime he sees my mac "vulnerable".

I used to have an Asus motherboard on my PC and there was a way to configure the power button to not shut down when held in its Bios, so I was wondering if there is anything similar than that on my mac.

thx

No way to disable the power button on your MBP. I suggest you lock the machine away somewhere when you're not around. Your brother will quickly get the hint.

Regards.

Either that or break his fingers every time he touches your MacBook....he'll quickly get the hint via this method as well. :)
