Macbook hard drive purge

I recently removed a 60gb hard drive from my Macbook. It contained OS Tiger. I installed a new 320gb Hard drive and installed new OS Leopard. I purchased a hard drive enclosure for the old 60gb hard drive to make an external hard drive. Unfortunatly OS tiger is still on the drive.

Can anyone tell me how to completly purge Tiger from my 60gb external hard drive.

Applications - Utilities - Disk Utitlity

Select the 60GB drive in the left column - hit the Erase tab - read and follow the directions there.
