iPod Touch Keeps Syncing

My iPod Touch keeps synching the same 17 songs each time I plug it in. Even if I sync and then unplug and immediately resync it will sync the same songs again. Why does it keep doing this? Its getting annoying.

go to your ipod preferences in itunes, check the box for manage music manually. theres a few options, you just have to check and uncheck some boxes. Sorry if thats vague dont have itunes here with me.

I just tried that and it didn't seem to work. I checked it and then unchecked it like a reset and it is still syncing the same songs.
