Is the only way to download the instruments through the update section.
What is the dvd that it mentions?
1 gig seems like a lot to download..

2.66 GHz Intel Core 2 duo processor 4 GB of memory 300 GB HD imac, 8GB Ipod Touch 4th generation
The DVD is the mac os x install disc. I had to do it this way since I am on dial up
