Small issue with trackpad on late 08 macbook pro

Sometimes my trackpad will stop working for a few seconds, it seems to happen rather frequently and it gets very annoying after a while. Anyone know any fixes for this?

Hi,
Mine does the same....bloody anoying.

bump!

I did a google search but all I found was some users having problem with the new macbook pro's trackpad.

MBP i7, Mac Mini & iPhone 3G.
Have you guys try software update? I am sure there was an update for the track pads firmware. Mine is fine.
