I have deleted an application from my computer but for some reason it still show on my top bar along side my battery indicator, wifi signal, time, etc... How can you delete things from there? Its a application that is no longer on my computer so I don't know why it still shows up. Thanks for your help!

Providing the name of the app would help in helping you.
If it is an app that had it's own uninstaller and you just dragged it to the trash, you should probably re-install and then uninstall it properly.
You could also try command-click on the icon and see if you can drag it off the Menu Bar (there are a few apps where this is not possible).
