Evidently it is. Check this link. I tried it with mine and it correctly reported back "Apple, Inc.".

HA HA yea I just found the same thing, I appreciate the quick answer. Now I just need to know how he went through 6 weeks worth of logs to figure out it was a mac mac address that spooled a virus to his windows boxes on the same network.
